Professional Feedback:
Receiving feedback from parents, teachers, and chaperones is a great way for me to grow as an educator. I use this feedback to improve my practice by continuing to incorporate activities and teaching tools that work well and changing to respond to constructive criticism. One example is when a chaperone suggested I "set an expectation that each child will need to share daily." I reflected on this feedback and intentionally implemented more discussion strategies that encourage every voice to share. Creating space for every student to participate in discussion and activities is an important part of my philosophy of education.
